Salomon's Lord comes with a Full Woodcore from tip to tail which gives the ski optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound along with maximum ski-snow contact and helps to filter excessive vibrations. The Lord also feature wider edges and Edge Armor for increased durability which along with the Edgy Monocoque construction offers precise edge grip, no excess material and efficient energy transfer from skier to snow. Salomon’s Pulse Pad offers an elastomer layer along the front of the ski and edge for better shock absorption and anti-vibration for smoother and softer ski-snow contact. The Lord Skis feature Salomon’s Rocker Technology, Salomon's progressive inverse camber, which creates an inverse camber in the front part of the ski while keeping a traditional camber underfoot and tail for better float in the powder while still maintaining all-mountain performance. The ski is equally at ease both on the slopes and in off-piste conditions. It is extremely accessible, and remarkably manoeuvrable, making it fun to handle. The Lord performs well on all types of terrains and in all types of manoeuvres.

With the best-selling Vertical ST model, Dynafit engineers and designers have just recently taken it to a new level. They succeeded in satisfying diametrically opposed requirements (stronger but lighter) while improving and streamlining certain details (such as the ski stopper and rotation control). The need for extreme skier retention in the rear binding and more durable crampon attachments made it necessary to calculate the correct structural ratios and choose the most suitable materials with care.
