Ski
The WayBack prefers an adventure to a rustic hut over the crowds of busy resorts. A superlight wood core with a Carbon Web makes this adventure ski one of the lightest mid-fats on the market. It excels at long approaches and pays increasingly greater dividends the farther one ventures into the mountains. The All-Terrain shovel rocker combined with the shallow, progressive sidecut makes it ultra-predictable in high-alpine conditions, with the added benefit of rocker that also makes trailbreaking easier.
Binding
The new Eagle 10, has been improved to give a wider support of the front hinge, wider contact area at the heel, a new climbing aid and new ski brake. With new Eagle 10 walking and ascending is more natural and safer than ever before – even under extreme conditions. The secret is the Diamir Gliding Technology. This binding achieves what no other has managed to do up to now: it combines maximum walking comfort and stability without the slightest compromise on safety. The Diamir Eagle offers an active safety release, because the binding is equipped with a rotating toe piece including a separate spring assembly. This meets the standards of a high-end alpine binding. The long elasticity and restoring forces of the springs reduce the risk of unintentional releases to a minimum. This is very important, particularly on uneven ground and in deep snow. Diamir binding systems are TÜV certified and fulfil the DIN ISO norms for touring and alpine bindings, as well as for touring ski boots and alpine ski boots.
