In 1958 Ed Scott invented the first aluminium ski pole. Today, Scott continues to deliver cutting edge technology and graphics. The 2009 Scott World Cup Slalom is constructed with S4 aluminium the strongest commercially available, aircraft-grade 7075 aluminium alloy in the world and are twice as strong as the industry standard. The Notch Strike handle has been anatomically engineered using soft thermoplastic rubber and polypropylene. The lightweight, streamlined profile facilitates the wrist articulation necessary for a textbook downhill tuck. The Aero SG race basket is designed to minimize drag and wind resistance when racing. The Strike RC Strap is ergonomically shaped for right and left hand grips. Also featured is a neoprene platform for increased hand support and a Velcro fastener for easy adjustment.
