In 1958 Ed Scott invented the first aluminum ski pole. Today, Scott continues to deliver cutting edge technology and graphics. The Scott graphite pole uses a composite carbon shaft for reduced vibration and shock absorption while improving feel and swing weight. The P-Core Grip, new for this season, features soft thermoplastic rubber that is injection-molded over a polypropylene core. Soft thermoplastic rubber demands significantly less strength when gripping the pole. The FX 15x25 Strap provides a platform to plant and push off. The straps are engineered with increased strap width in the back of the hand for additional support. The buckle is injection-molded nylon that exceeds a tensile strength of 800 psi in lab tests.
