Engineered to have the best traction, durability and glue performance, Black Diamond Ascension skins are hard-working ditch diggers that get the job done, pre-dawn to post-dusk.  The Ascension skins are made with nylon Orange Plush, making them the choice for steep climbs where power and traction are crucial. The Orange Plush and its engineered backing give these skins an unparalleled level of durability. A glueless taffeta ribbon down the center of skins makes it easier to pull the skins off once the uphill work has been finished. The STS tip loops and tail straps provide maximum adjustability and versatility and the tip loops fit a wide range of ski tips and sizes and can be easily adjusted to swap back and forth between different skis. The tail straps are now 20% stronger than previous years’ models and are specially designed to have an even stretch throughout. This ensures that you’ll get a snug, secure fit, whether you use the first slot or the last. Black Diamond’s Ascension skins are the gold standard in uphill climbing skins.
