The WayBack prefers an adventure to a rustic hut over the crowds of busy resorts. A superlight wood core with a Carbon Web makes this adventure ski one of the lightest mid-fats on the market. It excels at long approaches and pays increasingly greater dividends the farther one ventures into the mountains. The All-Terrain shovel rocker combined with the shallow, progressive sidecut makes it ultra-predictable in high-alpine conditions, with the added benefit of rocker that also makes trailbreaking easier.

Binding

With the best-selling Vertical ST model, Dynafit engineers and designers have just recently taken it to a new level. They succeeded in satisfying diametrically opposed requirements (stronger but lighter) while improving and streamlining certain details (such as the ski stopper and rotation control). The need for extreme skier retention in the rear binding and more durable crampon attachments made it necessary to calculate the correct structural ratios and choose the most suitable materials with care. The result is amazing compared to previous models: 20% higher durability, greater comfort of use, more precise distribution of force and lighter.
