The Tethera is a lightweight but supportive classic walking and trekking boot specifically designed for all year round hill walking and perfect for use in the high lakeland fells or Monroe mountains of Scotland. The Tethera is made with the highest grade of Italian Anfibio leather with a classic one piece leather tongue lacing well down towards the toe. This seamless design gives excellent waterproofing as well as offering the opportunity to finesse the fit between the five width fittings. To get this large seamless piece of leather, the centre of the back of the hide is used guaranteeing the most dense and best part of the skin. The boot combines good ankle support with a soft nubuck leather collar for comfort. The lining is a Sympatex waterproof breathable bootee membrane which is ideal for managing comfort combining a dry foot with being not too hot in the summer and not too cold in the winter.
