Berner (formerly Nokian) footwear from Finland is Europe's leading manufacturer of rubber boots. These boots are hand made in natural rubber, and are  ideal for outdoor pursuits and active leisure use. Nokian boots are exceptionally hard wearing and can tolerate wide variations in weather and temperature conditions. Each boot is hand made from about 20 separate components to ensure a correct form and perfect fit.

Formally known as the Bogtrotter this legendary boot is the perfect answer for moorland and wet downland rambling.They are mid-calf length, have an impact absorbing heel cavity,  non-slip stuuded soles (that can be fitted with optional carbide steel studs for ice), top tightening strap, and a reflective band.

Exceptionally popular for winter rambling in muddy conditions, they require little maintenance, just wash them down and allow to dry naturally (and apply Nokian silicon rubber conditioner regularly to prevent the rubber drying out)
