This amazingly light, simple and elegant design arose from a neat application of lateral thinking. Rockcentrics combine the classic 'hex' shape with the concave and convex curvatures which are so effective in Rocks. Strength from the triangulation of forces is coupled with highly stable placements and exceptional versatility.

Beautifully made from thin wall extrusions of exceptionally durable, lightweight HE30 alloy, each Rockcentric is numbered clearly on the largest surface and equipped with a strong, lightweight, colour-coded Dyneema® sling. Rockcentrics have been much praised since we introduced them in 1998 for versatility, speed of placement and light weight. Alpinists will be interested to know that the method of manufacture from specially heat-treated extrusions allows Rockcentrics to be hammered into icedup cracks - making them a very valuable addition to any mountain arsenal. Rockcentrics can be tailored perfectly into a lightweight rack for Alpine routes, summer or winter.
