It is important to protect the skin against insect bites or stings. Care Plus® has a whole rang of products for this purpose. But it is still possible that you may get bitten or stung. This can make the skin very itchy and/or irritable. That is why from 2008 onward, Tropenzorg is launching the Care Plus® Bite Gel – After Bite Gel.

This gel is specially designed to soothe and calm the skin after insect stings (for example by mosquitoes, wasps and horse-flies as well as jellyfish and stinging nettles). The special formulation eases the itching and soothes the irritation. This gel contains ammonia, which has a proven soothing effect. It also contains camphor, which hardens the skin. Other ingredients in this product are: bisabolol, tea trea oil and eucalyptus. The latter ingredient ensures that the gel leaves a pleasant smell behind after the initial smell has been dispelled.

Instructions for use
After being stung or bitten, apply liberally onto and around the affected area. Repeat it necessary. Only cover once the gel has dried. Shake before use. The Bite Gel comes in a handy dosing pack: convenient for use when travelling. Contains ammonia and limonene For external use only. Keep and store out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, open wounds and mucous membranes. Can be used on persons from 2 years of age upwards. Do not use in case of allergy to one of the ingredients. If the symptoms persist or become more serious, consult a doctor.
